The Reserve Stingrays would like welcome you to our neighborhood for our swim meet. We are looking forward to hosting your team and having a great time!

Some information we would like to share about our neighborhood pool. Please pass this information along to your coaches, volunteers and swim families.

Location:

The Reserve is located at 101 Edgemore Ave., Cary 27519. Our subdivision is located just north of the intersection of NC Hwy 55 and High House Rd. The pool is on the left once you enter the subdivision from Hwy 55.

Parking:

We have limited parking spaces, so we encourage car pooling. Once the parking lot is full you may park along the street. Please park on the sidewalk side of the street. There will be "no parking" signs indicating where not to park. Please do not park within 50 feet of any stop sign.

Swimmers:

We have approximately 75 swimmers this year.

Timing and Meet Maestro:

We use the Dolphin Timing System in each lane with a Head Timer or Order of Finish judge as required. The Dolphin times feed directly to Meet Maestro, but we override with the Head Timer or Order of Finish Judge place as necessary. Per the new TSA regulations we have 2 Dolphin timers available for each of our 6 lanes and prefer not to staff an Order of Finish judge unless 12 total volunteer timers are unavailable. Our data managers handle the data collection for us. Our usual process: the home team takes the DQ’s, Order of Finish Judge results if required, any backup times and enters any corrections needed to the auto input from the Dolphins into Meet Maestro. The visiting team then checks that they agreed with all data entry. Ribbon writers write the ribbons either at the meet or after depending on availability. We plan to follow the timeline of: entries complete by Sunday evening and Meet Merge Monday morning. Please plan to lock your entries and mark ready to merge by Sunday night midnight. The process goes much more smoothly if we can be as accurate as possible going into the merge. Last minute cancellations are handled on the pool deck during warmups.

Pool Set Up:

We have a six lane pool and a small pool deck. The seating for all 7 & older swimmers (from both teams) will be outside the pool gate area. Please have your swimmers come prepared with chairs, blankets, bug spray, etc. to keep them comfortable during the meet. All 6 & unders are welcome to be on the deck with their kid pushers or parents. There will be seating for your team parents on deck near the same area (3 ft. End of pool), but seating will be limited due to our deck size.

Meet Schedule Info:

We will be swimming the 6 & U age group in normal sequence and rotation with the other age groups. In order to expedite the meet we allow "dive-overs" to keep the meet running smoothly

Warm Ups:

-Home team warm-ups begin at 5:00PM

-Visiting team warm-ups begin at 5:30PM

-The meet will begin promptly at 6:00PM

We recommend you arrive at 5:00 to get your team and volunteers situated. You are more than welcome to arrive earlier if you wish. We will have a table set up for your volunteer coordinator and chairs for your coaches on the clubhouse side of the pool.

Coaches/Parents Relay:

When agreed by both teams, we are open to having a Coach/Parent relay if time allows. These usually take place after the breast stroke, weather permitting.

Officials Meeting:

TSA and Officials meeting (starter, stroke and turn, place judges, runners, timers and clerks) will be held at 5:45 PM at the starting block end of the pool near the announcer's table. After the general meeting, place judges, timers, stroke and turn judges will break away for specific instructions.

Concessions:

We will provide a full concession stand at the meet including meals such as Chicken Strip or sandwich meals, pizza, hot dogs, chips, candy, soda, water, Gatorade, Frozen yogurt, etc. Forms of payment include credit card or cash.
