HEY Stingrays! We are excited about our first swim meet tomorrow (June 14th) at Wellsley!

It is going to be SUPER HOT! Please stay extra hydrated throughout the day tomorrow and bring plenty of water for the meet. Please be at the poo with your numbers on at 5:15 so we can promptly start warm ups at 5:30. If you are volunteering, please find Jenn and Kellie when you arrive.

Location and Parking Information:Our pool is located at: 100 Widdington Ln, Cary, NC 27519

Directions: Almost all navigation systems will recognize the address. Regardless of which direction you come from, you will make a right or left to enter the neighborhood off of High House and the parking lot to the pool will be on your immediate left.

Parking: There is a parking lot outside the pool, however it is small. We reserve the parking lot for visiting teams so please look for a spot. If there are none left, leave the parking area by making a left on Widdington and finding a place on the street. There are no parking restrictions but we do ask that all parking be kept on one side of the street.

Facility:

On the pool deck, we do not have room to allow everyone to bring chairs. Chairs are allowed off the pool deck or outside the pool area. Tents are allowed on the pool deck. It is supposed to be over 100 degrees on Tuesday, so we encourage you to bring something to provide some shade as there are only a handful of tents here.

Your swimmers will set up on the right side of the pool immediately upon entering the pool deck.

We have a 6 lane 25 Yard pool. We do have pool lights that allow us to continue swim meets after dark.

Concessions:We do not have a concession stand but do bring in pizza and Chic-Fil-A sandwiches for purchase during the meet. We accept cash only.

Warmups:

As the host team, we will warm up from 5:00 to 5:30. The pool will be available for your team to warm up from 5:30 to 6:00.

Pre-Meet Briefing:
There will be a pre-meet briefing promptly at 5:45 pm on the pool deck in front of the guard station. An announcement will be made calling for volunteers. Kindly have all people officiating at the meet and yourselves in attendance at that time.

Covid Protocols

While we do not have any official Covid protocols, we do ask that visiting teams follow basic CDC guidelines and not attend if demonstrating symptoms, have received a positive test, or live with someone who has tested positive and have not taken a test themselves.
