Stingray News

Hi Stingrays,

Good job at the meet last night! We had 44 athletes and a total of 53 improved times. Congrats to our 5 triple winners, Kaytelin Baughman, Kate Curzan, Aurdrey Eades, Megan Lickfold and Ian Teauge.

Our first swimmer of the week is Amelia Gregg! Amelia comes to practices ready to put in the work. Last night, she set personal records in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. Amelia swam up in both the 13/14 girls Medley and Freestyle relays (Shout out to relay team members Sedona, Dakota, & Kate), earning 10 points for the Stingrays.

Our next swimmer of the week is Banks Huffman! As a supportive teammate, Banks is always eager to help out in any way he can, whether it’s being the first to volunteer to kid-catch or help clean up after practices/meets. Banks gave it his all in each race, earning 7 points for the Rays and 2 personal best times in backstroke and breaststroke.

Please declare for next Tuesday’s meet at Carpenter Village this Sunday at NOON - thank you!

See you at practice!
