Hey Stingrays!

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend and we can't wait to see you at the pool this week! We all have our eyes on the skies, monitoring the weather. If practice is canceled, we will send an announcement (see the end of this e-mail for a general update on our weather policies).

Events

• Tuesday, May 26 - Ice Cream Social after practices (could be rescheduled due to weather)
• Thursday, May 28 - Stroke Clinic led by YOTA (YMCA of the Triangle Area Competitive Swim Team): This is a fantastic opportunity to meet YOTA Coaches and current swimmers and learn more about competitive swimming options outside of our neighborhood team. We have several Stingrays currently swimming with YOTA and you won't want to miss this one.
• Sunday, May 31 2:00-4:00 PM - Fundraiser car wash: Traditionally this fundraiser has raised money for our senior Stingrays and we want to send them off with a splash! Ask friends, family, neighbors (literally everyone to come by and have their car washed by enthusiastic youth for a donation). All volunteers and donations appreciated! Bring your swimmer by to help wash cars and stay for dinner!
• Sunday, May 31 4:30-7:00 PM - Kickoff Cookout: Join us for a start of season celebration, complete with a cookout and pool party! Please RSVP via Swimtopia and bring a side. We need to know how many burgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs to purchase, so please comment accordingly in your RSVP.
